And for the past 40 years early August this quiet countryside town is transformed into a bustling jazz-lovers paradise as an internationally acclaimed jazz festival takes place. As well as the main festival the town hosts a fringe festival , with free concets in the village square and by the lake. And if you love jazz but miss the festival the Astrada concert hall, runs an annual programme. Check their website for details
